Julia and Martin's July 30, 2011 wedding was a celebration of Northern Michigan and the treasures that are all around us. Julia graduated from the Leelanau School where the whole celebration took place, and with help from friends and family they created an unforgettable event. Julia's mother arranged the flowers from her garden, and made the chocolate favors (she's the amazing Mimi Wheeler of Grocers Daughter Chocolate). After the ceremony, they feasted on local and organically grown food and enjoyed music provided by faithful friends of the family. The riches of Northern Michigan didn't completely steal the party though - table cards were named after city parks in Minneapolis and St. Paul, where Julia and Martin currently live, and family came all the way from Denmark to celebrate!
