Mad Men, a bold black and white stripe and DIY floral centerpieces- you might be asking what the three of these things have in common. The answer lies in Allie and Dave's July 16th wedding. Allie and Dave were married right in the heart of Downtown Traverse City at the Central United Methodist Church. Following their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs., guests headed to the reception at the Traverse City Golf and Country Club where the couple's love of Mad Men inspired the color palette, decor and the details. Guests sipped a classic signature cocktail- the Dirty Martini- and dined around the tables adorned with centerpieces created by the bridal party (yes all you SBW brides, you can do your own centerpieces!). Following the cutting of the cake, the bride and her father were joined by the groom and the Maid of Honor for a choreographed "Father/Daughter" dance. After that, all bets were off, and guests danced the night away and sung along with the band to their favorite tunes.
