Jackie & Asif had a great vision for the dreamy ceremony decor for their Omena wedding, which was implemented by the team at Field of Flowers. Gorgeous organza curtains hung in the doorway of the barn. The fabric adds a softness and some movement to the angular doorway. Large, cheery arrangements graced either side of the barn door. Yellow was the signature color, and pretty vases were hung on the chairs on the ends of the rows for an added pop of color. Large white globe lanterns complimented the overall feel and added geometric elements.
From the bride:
"I was looking for a rustic chíc feel with the decor, and love the juxtaposition of ornate elegance with clean simplicity. For example, our table runners were made of detailed lace overlay on natural burlap. I love big lighting elements, and thought the retro feel the paper lanterns imparted was a statement, big illumination, and nostalgia together. My Mom made the blue Ball Jar centerpieces by hand, and Christina from Field of Flowers filled them with seasonal blooms native to Northern Michigan. I think it was a welcoming combination of the elegance and simplicity that is Northern Michigan." -JS
