For as long as I can remember, I have always had an innate need to create and express myself through art. At the age of 12, I burned rolls and rolls of film as my best friend Dana modeled among the apple trees near our home. In 2002, I earned my Bachelors of Fine Arts in photography from Western Michigan University. And I have learned more than I could have imagined working for commercial photographers, including three years as the in-house 2nd photographer, producer, & stylist for Jim Powell Advertising Photography. I view my photography as more than just a way to make a living. My hope is that you are able to experience all the beauty in the world in a different way, that you are able to see it through my eyes.
