It's no longer true that brides do all the planning and grooms just show up in a tux. This is still the case for some couples, and works well for them, but we've met more and more grooms who are very involved in the planning process. Last year we had a groom do all the planning because his fiancee was in grad school and swamped! So sweet.
And just like the bride, the groom needs his guys around for his big day. The best friends, cousins, brothers (we've even seen uncles, dads, and grandpas in the groom's party!) who have his back all the way. The ones who make sure he doesn't do anything too embarrassing at the bachelor party. Who go with him to pick out an engagement ring and help him plan the big moment. Who stand by his side as he marries his best friend and tell the hilarious stories at the reception that they promised not to. Who are there when he needs encouragement, support, and a stiff drink.
Here are some of our favorite groom's party moments. Hope you enjoy.
