Vendor Spotlights, A Retrospective

by Celia Mulder

As we gear up for the vendor guide launch in two days, I thought I'd give you a sneak peek in the form of a vendor spotlight retrospective. Here are all the vendors I've featured on the blog since I took over as editorial director last October. Click on the photos to read more about these incredible vendors, just some of the ones who will be a part of the Simply Blue Vendor Guide!

Personalization is limitless for your special day but if you are looking for a subtle way to make an impact then a personalized cake topper is the perfect way!  Anna and Joe's wedding exuded elegance and romance. The dining room filled with crystal chandeliers, soft blush lighting and decadent tablescapes wove together perfectly to capture the couple's vision but one ever-so-special detail could have been easily overlooked by guests even though it was like "home" to the bride and groom- home plate that is! Their stunner of a wedding cake was a five tier masterpiece covered in a quilted pattern luster fondant with royal icing, accented layers, and adorned with fresh flowers. But the pièce de résistance of this wedding cake was the custom cake topper of the bride and groom in their signature Detroit Tigers baseball jerseys - the couple has season tickets to Motown's favorite past time. This edible sculpture also doubled as a keepsake for Anna and Joe! anna&joecaketopper1
